Why?

So we were at Magic Kingdom. It was our fourth day at Disney. We've had three great days but today was, what I would say, Devine.  We got to the park with a plan. Get our fast pass for the Buzz Light Year ride and get on line for Space Mountain. We haven't been on either yet.  We got the passes but when we went to Space Mountain it wasn't open yet. The staff member delivering the news suggested getting the fast pass. I politely told the staff member my plan and how I already had passes, if you don't   know, one can't get another pass until the time on the first has passed. I then asked if I could trade my fast passes in for new ones. He ended up giving me a special pass for all of us and let us keep the ones we had.  We graciously thanked him and my mother in law told him about how she had never been on the ride. It was shut down every time she had tried on her previous visits. Etc..
         When we came back for our fast pass time on Space Mountain this same staff person proceeded to hand us an additional 19 passes to use anywhere in the park! How awesome is that? Later we decide use them to get on a ride. As we are walking to it I'm saying to God, 'why are you blessing us so much today? What did we do?' When we get to the place to hand in our passes, the girl at the door says, "I don't know what to do with those" and didn't take them but still let us fast pass! We were then able to use them on 2 other rides! We were able to do so much more because of this. I am thankful for the young mans generosity and thankful to God for designing this day. Everyday was a blessing. I put each of these four days in Gods hands but today I specifically asked God to design our day, and he totally did! Thank you!

Dude!

Got home today and was reflecting on the day and asked myself, "How was I able to do that?" Only answer is, "By the grace of God."  Something I was unable to do even a few weeks ago I was able to do effortlessly today.  Through prayer I now have the ability. Praise God!

Working together

First I want to say sorry it's been so long. Thanks D for encouraging me to start up again.

Tonight's simple joy: Hubby, two children and I worked together to clean up the mess from a meal for 8. We were done in 9 minutes. If i had to do it alone it would have taken a lot longer. I so appreciate when everyone helps. It gives us all more time together.  Thankful for Jesus's example of a servants heart. When we are servants to each other we all benefit.

Tonight I'm thankful for those who have my back!

A Funny!

Yesterday my daughter had to run back upstairs to get her lunch before we left for school. She came back with a gallon of milk. I said, " What do u have there?" She looked and realized what she had and went back for her lunch. Then we enjoyed a good laugh.

A Choice

We have a choice. All of us are different. People may even annoy us!
( of course) But it's more fun to just laugh about our differences than be annoyed. Besides, God created each of us for His purposes. Let's rejoicein our differences.

Transition

Reflecting tonight about how my life is in a transition. For me, it's in regards to relationships. Thinking about it made me smile. I'm enjoying the adventure and excited to see where I end up.
